Renewal of the instrumentation pool in 2024

Within the federal project “Development of infrastructure for research and training of specialists” of the national project “Science and Universities” in 2024, our Institute was allocated 10 million rubles to implement measures aimed renewal of the instrumentation pool of leading organizations performing research and scientific activity.

To date the following equipment has been bought with the funds received:

  • RA-915 Lab - Mercury Analyzer
  • Sambori SKR-250H Climate chamber for plant growth
  • Miulab DEL-100 Microplate reader
  • 2 T-lab ECO TLAB-V85-230 autoclaves
  • Scientz-18ND freeze-dryer (lyophilizer)

We are waiting for:

  • DW-86L728 low-temperature biomedical freezer
  • Micromed UЗ biological microscope

Sambori SKR-250H Climate chamber for plant growth

Sambori SKR-250H Climate chamber for plant growth provides constant lighting, humidity and temperature conditions. The chamber is designed for culturing phototrophic microorganisms: cyanobacteria, algae, flagellates.

Miulab DEL-100 Microplate reader

Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) reader equipped with 13-channel high-precision optical measurement system, 4 standard filters: 405 nm, 450 nm, 492 nm, 630 nm, with built-in incubation function (+4 °C ~ 65 °C).

T-lab ECO TLAB-V85-230 autoclaves

Designed for sterilization of nutrient media (5 modes), laboratory glassware, backup tools and bioreactor (3 modes), for disinfection of collected material and crops (5 modes).

Scientz-18ND freeze-dryer (lyophilizer)

Designed for dehydration of pre-frozen objects, including biological ones, in conditions of low temperatures and vacuum for their further long-term storage. The condenser chamber with a volume of 6 liters is made of stainless steel. The cooling temperature is -56 C, and the residual pressure after vacuum blowing is less than 10 Pa. The drying chamber is equipped with four shelves with a diameter of 200 mm with controlled heating and manifolds in the amount of 8 pcs for drying in bulk, in microplates, in bottles for lyophilization.

RA-915 Lab - Mercury Analyzer

Universal equipment for the determination of mercury in various types of solid and liquid samples, including biosamples, which does not require their preliminary preparation. The principle of operation of the analyzer is based on thermal decomposition of the sample with further detection of the resulting atomic mercury by atomic absorption with Zeeman correction of non-selective absorption of resonance radiation with a wavelength of 254 nm by mercury atoms. Quantitative analysis is characterized by high accuracy, low detection limit and reproducibility. Analyzer temperature control software optimizes the analysis mode and allows to identify different types of mercury.
