Youth Darwin Day was held at the Club “Ogon`”

On February 12, a popular science meeting “Darwin Day” was held in Irkutsk, organized by young scientists of the city with the support of the Vavilovsky community of geneticists and plant breeders and Limnological Institute SB RAS. The event was held in the cozy atmosphere at the Club “Ogon`”

There were many science enthusiasts interested in biology and evolution in the meeting. Leading scientists of LIN SB RAS, SIPPB SB RAS and Research Institute of Biology of ISU presented fascinating reports on various aspects of evolutionary biology.

The event became part of the educational program of the Vavilov community of geneticists and plant breeders, aimed at popularizing science among young people and promoting modern scientific knowledge about biological evolution.

The organizers express their gratitude to everyone who attended the meeting, and also sincerely thank the owners of the center “Ogon`” for hearty welcome and comfortable conditions.
