The VI Baikal ecological dictation honoring the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia and the Year of the Baikal Seal will take place at LIN SB RAS

On April 15, 2026, Limnological Institute SB RAS will become the main venue for the VI Baikal ecological dictation dedicated to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia and the Year of the Baikal Seal, announced by the All-Russian Society for Nature Conservation. VI Baikal ecological dictation, together with the entire Irkutsk region, will be written in 45 regions, including 10 Russian republics. Everyone will have an opportunity to test the knowledge of Baikal Science and the rules of the Russian language.

Start of the dictation: on April 15, 2026 at 15:00 (Irkutsk time).

The Baikal ecological dictation is supported by the Government of Irkutsk Region, the Ministry of Education of Irkutsk Region, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of Irkutsk Region, the Ministry of Culture of Irkutsk Region, “Dvizhenie Pervykh” (Movement of the First) in Irkutsk Region, the Scientific Council on Environmental Education of the Russian Academy of Education and “Zapovednoye Pribaikalye” state institution. The main organizers of the Dictation are the Irkutsk Regional Branch of the All-Russian Society for Nature Conservation and Limnological Institute SB RAS.
