Congratulations to Alyona Sergeevna Yakhnenko, junior researcher of the laboratory of Ichthyology with a perfect defense of her Ph.D. thesis for Doctor`s Degree in Biology by Specialty 1.5.7 – Genetics.

Thesis “Comparative analysis of intraspecific and interspecific genetic differentiation of Baikal sponges (Porifera: Spongillida).” Supervisor - Candidate of Sciences (Biology) Valeria Borisovna Itskovich.

The defense took place on February 27 at N.I. Vavilov Institute of General Genetics RAS (Moscow). Defense results – 12:0.
