On April 15-18, the International Scientific-Practical Conference “Current Problems of Ecology, Hydrobiology and Baikal Science" was held at Faculty of Biology and Soil Science of ISU dedicated to the 135th anniversary of the birth of Professor M.M. Kozhov and the 105th anniversary of the Faculty of Biology and Soil Science of ISU, in which Maria Nalimova, a young employee of our Institute, took part.

Within the conference, Maria`s report “Inheritance of the mitochondrial genome in freshwater, araphid pennate diatom Ulnaria acus (Kützing) Aboal,” presented at the workshop “Current ecological and biological problems of Baikal region and adjacent territories,” was awarded a diploma of 1 degree.
