On April 7–10, 2025, the III International Scientific-Practical Conference “Fisheries science in the 21st century: key fields of development” took place at Moscow Corporate University of Sberbank. Within this conference, the V School of Young Scientists and Specialists of VNIRO was held. This year, a large delegation from the People`s Republic of China took part in the conference and school.
Tatyana Nikolaeva, the 1st year postgraduate student at Laboratory of Genosystematics, made a poster presentation “Integration of machine learning methods in the analysis of genetic polymorphism.”
The presentation included the results of the development of an application for identifying the structure of genetic data sets using an autoencoder.
The presentation of Tatyana and her colleagues aroused great interest and the authors were invited to speak again at the seminars.
