On April 24, the traditional 36th athletic race of SIPPB was held, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory Day over fascism, and in memory of Yuri Fedorovich Palkin, one of the organizers of the race.

On April 24, the traditional 36th athletic race of SIPPB was held, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory Day over fascism, and in memory of Yuri Fedorovich Palkin, one of the organizers of the race.

Five teams of scientific institutes of Irkutsk Academgorodok: Limnological Institute, Institute of Geography, Institute of Geochemistry, Institute of the Earth`s Crust and Federal Research Center of Institute of Chemistry, as well as 4 made-up teams of runners took part in the race.

This year, the team of Institute of the Earth`s Crust won first place in the scientific institute competition, followed by Institute of Chemistry in second and Institute of Chemistry in third. Our institute`s team placed an honorable fourth. To our colleagues, congratulations on the start of the running season.

2 stage – 2 km –Chebykin Aleksandr (Laboratory of Hydrochemistry and Atmosphere Chemistry);
3 stage – 750 m – Smirnova Daria (Laboratory of Hydrocarbon Microbiology);
4 stage – 2 km – Shergen Dmitry (Information Analysis Department);
5 stage – 2 km –Nikolaeva Tatiana (Laboratory of Genosystematics);
6 stage – 2 km –Medvezhonkov Dmitry (Laboratory of Hydrology and Hydrophysics);
7 stage – 750 m – Gutnik Daria (Laboratory of Aquatic Microbiology);
8 stage – 2 km – Chebykin Evgeny (Department of Cell Ultrastructure);
9 stage – 2 km –Kustova Olga (Laboratory of Interdisciplinary Environmental and Economic Research and Technologies).
