On April 30, LIN SB RAS organized an institute subbotnik and fire training

During the fire training, after the fire warning system was activated, the employees left the Institute building, then the directions for use the fire extinguishers were trained and a simulated fire was suppressed.

During the subbotnik, the female part of the team was mainly engaged in tiding up the workplace. Male limnologists addressed their forces to tidy and beautify the area next to the Institute`s main building. Three anchors lifted from the bottom of Lake Baikal were installed in front of the central entrance to the Institute. Some parts of these anchors are dated 1897. Most likely, they were in service with dredging watercraft.
