First Russian Gas-Hydrate Conference RGC-2024

The Russian Gas Hydrate Conference will become an event that brings together scientists from all fields of science studying the phenomenon of gas hydrates, not only in Russia, but also abroad. The main objective of the conference is to provide a platform for scientists and experts to exchange research results, develop productive cooperation and professional links, and identify the main challenges and priority directions in the study of gas hydrates.

The conference will cover a wide range of issues in various fields of gas hydrate research at the interface of natural and technical sciences and innovative technologies: from the physico-chemical basis of hydrate formation, technological aspects of their use and application to the geology of natural gas hydrates, their impact on the environment and climate, and their contribution to the global carbon cycle.

We also welcome coverage of research in related scientific fields: the application of semi-clathrate and ionic clathrate hydrates, the study of permafrost, focal hydrocarbon discharge, issues of mathematical and basin modeling in the presence of gas hydrates.
