Head of the Republic of Buryatia Aleksey Tsydenov expressed his gratitude to LIN SB RAS.

The head of the Republic of Buryatia Aleksey Tsydenov appreciated the on-line monitoring of hydrological regime of rivers in Buryatia fulfilled by LIN SB RAS. Test stations of water level monitoring in the Selenga and Barguzin Rivers and stations of monitoring of rate of ice growth at ice bridges on the Selenga River were installed within the Project of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation “Fundamental bases, methods and technologies of digital monitoring and forecast of ecological situation of the Baikal Natural Area”. Problems of enlargement of the monitoring stations network are being now discussed.
