PCR can help bring omul back to the market and create dream fish
One of the desires of a tourist visiting Lake Baikal is to taste omul. However, it almost lacks on the market as well as Baikal whitefish and grayling. Peled is mainly sold in numerous stalls along the coast. It is also endemic fish, but, of course, it cannot be compared with omul. Scientists from Limnological Institute Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences have found the solution to this problem.
