Southern and Central Baikal 8-11 September, 2016 RV “G. Titov”
Sick and relatively healthy sponges of various species and their cell cultures were collected for further experiments. The researchers checked the condition of sponges collected at the reference sites. Additional reference sites were set near the settlement of Bolshiye Koty for studying causes of sponge disease and rate of their recovery. During this expedition, the camera crew of the Company “VS-Media” shot a documentary film.
