The Conference abstracts will be published in the special issue of the journal «Limnology and Freshwater Biology». Please upload your abstracts through the online system until 1st August 2020. The abstracts of up to two pages should be written in English. We admit two formats: with or without sections. You should submit your abstracts marked as "Special issue BMS-2020" through the online system at the link: http://www.limnolfwbiol.com/index.php/LFWB/about/submissions.

The Symposium will cover the following scientific areas:

  • The microbial communities diversity in aquatic ecosystems.
  • Microorganisms and their associations with hydrobionts.
  • Autochthonous and allochthonous viruses in water bodies.
  • Biofilm formation in aquatic ecosystems.
  • Molecular and genetic studies of aquatic microorganisms and viruses.
  • Modern microbiological and virological monitoring of water bodies under conditions of global warming, assessment of water quality.
  • Microbial degradation of pollutants and xenobiotics in aquatic ecosystems.
