When equipped with the appropriate accessories, the MED 010 Turbo mini deposition system is suited for the
following applications:
- Production of carbon support films
- Production of carbon reinforcement films on Formvar or collodium coated specimen support grids
- Production of hydrophilic carbon support films in a glow discharge process
- Normal and rotary shadowing of рел specimens
- Evaporation or sputter coating of SEM specimens to produce conductive films
- Evaporation coating of specimens as a preparation for microanalysis
- Production of specimen replicas
- Evaporation of interference films onto polished metal surfaces for making microstructures visible without etching
